Welcome to Pause Postpartum. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We recommend reading these carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our policies and procedures. Should you have any questions or require clarification, please feel free to contact us.

Booking and Payment

For our ongoing postpartum packages (e.g. ‘Guided’ and ‘Nurtured’), a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of payment is required by the 34th week of your pregnancy to allow for flexibility in case your baby arrives early. By making this payment, you confirm your acceptance of the specified package and commitment to receive the selected services.

For our one-off services (e.g. ‘Held’ and ‘Heard’), full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the service.

In-home visits greater than 10km from our location will incur a travel fee in addition to the services booked. This will be calculated in your booking process.

Communications

Pause Postpartum aims to respond to new and existing clients via email within 2 business days. Correspondence, phone calls and support outside of these hours is at the discretion of our Endorsed Midwife. For urgent concerns or emergencies, please contact your primary health care provider or dial ‘000’.

Medicare Rebates  

Our services are conducted by an Endorsed Midwife, which means all services attract Medicare rebates. Please note this rebate may vary depending on if you have met your Medicare safety net. It is not the responsibility of Pause Postpartum to process the Medicare rebates, this is the responsibility of the client booking our services. We are only able to issue an invoice at the completion of our services, please keep this in mind when booking. Following your appointment/s we will send you an invoice (within 3 business days) for you to provide Medicare to facilitate the associated rebates.

Refunds and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change, at times with little or no warning. If your little one arrives early, or your needs change, please get in touch as soon as possible so that we can work together to adjust your booking or payment schedule.

Deposits for ongoing packages (‘Guided’ and ‘Nurtured’) are generally non-refundable due to the commitment, administration and scheduling of resources. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances. Our Held package requires payment in full to secure booking, in the event of cancellation an administration fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the even that Pause Postpartum needs to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or reschedule your services if appropriate.

Pause Postpartum is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damages that may arise from the use of our services.

All personal and medical information shared with Pause Postpartum will be kept strictly confidential in compliance with relevant privacy laws. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

By booking with Pause Postpartum, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Pause Postpartum reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
